1-Day Itinerary:
Your day begins with a pickup at your Arusha hotel and a short drive. Arusha National Park is nestled on the slopes of Mt. Meru, encompassing both forested areas and open plains. This park is easy going and quiet, with a large, picturesque lake. It is a great place to see birds and black and white colobus monkeys, as well as giraffe, antelope and warthogs. Take advantage of the unique opportunities offered like walking safaris and canoeing. Most of the iconic photos of Tanzania with the wildlife in the foreground and Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background were taken inside Arusha National Park. Lunch options include a box lunch or picnic style lunch in the bush. After a memorable day, you will be returned to your hotel.
